Terms

These terms are the agreement between you and George Gebbett, trading as No Sync Club ("we"). By using nosyncclub.com or the app, you agree to them.

What you need

A MIDI controller connected over USB, Chrome or Edge on a laptop or desktop, and headphones. We test with popular controllers, but we can't promise every controller works with every lesson.

Your account

You can use the app as a guest. To keep your progress across devices, save it with your email address. Keep access to that inbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Accounts are for one person, and you must be 13 or over.

Plans and payment

• Opener is free.
• Headliner is £7.50 a month, billed in advance through Stripe until you cancel. Prices include any VAT that applies.
• You can cancel any time. You keep Headliner until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part months, except where the law says we must.
• If you're a consumer in the UK, you can cancel within 14 days of first subscribing for a refund, less a fair amount for the time you've already used.
• If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Your music

You're responsible for having the right to use any music you load. It stays on your computer. The practice tracks that come with lessons are licensed for use in No Sync Club only: please don't copy them out or share them.

Using it fairly

Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, don't share or resell your account, and don't copy our lessons, tracks or design. They belong to us or the people who licensed them to us.

Look after your ears

DJing means hours in headphones. Keep the volume at a level you can talk over, and take breaks.

Changes and availability

We work to keep No Sync Club running, but it's provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable. We may change or remove features. If we stop offering Headliner, we'll refund any time you've paid for and not used.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit. Otherwise, we're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using No Sync Club and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Brands

No Sync Club isn't affiliated with Pioneer DJ, AlphaTheta or any other controller maker. Their names belong to them and are used only to say what works with No Sync Club.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
